The changes in communicative processes in everyday life and in school through mediatization are obvious and, at the same time, unexamined in terms of their religious educational consequences. This article attempts to gain access to the field by asking which contribution can be made through an existing religious didactic concept to religious pedagogy in dealing with the mentioned challenges. Kindertheologie (theologizing with children) and its sociological, media-pedagogical and educational-theoretical significance for the discourse on religious education dealing with mediatization is presented as an example
