Political Dimensions of Religious Education - Conference Review

From 6 to 8 September 2019, the Gesellschaft für wissenschaftliche Religionspädagogik discussed "Political Dimensions of Religious Education" at its annual conference in Frankfurt am Main. The relationship between religious education and politics was examined in lectures on religious education, law and educational science, in a political panel discussion and in workshops of various civil society organisations. The conference review summarizes the various contributions with regard to the structural (polity), content-related (policy) and process-related (politics) dimensions of the concept of politics and identifies desiderata and further aspects.
