Workshop 4: Religious education for the elderly - a research overview

In spite of the reception of gerontological issues in Practical Theology the theory, praxis and research of religious education for the elderly are just on the beginning of the discourse. A review of german practical-theological studies since the ending twentieth century focussing on religious education is given in order to survey the reli-gious-educational field. This exploration opens out into a list of desiderata for further religious geragogical research.
