Religious commitment and moral judgment. An Empirical Study with Vocational School Learners

The article assumes that moral judgement (sensu Kohlberg) is of overarching importance when dealing with migration-related questions and requirements contexts. Against the background of current social debates, in which religious aspects are used as a reason for an inappropriate handling of values and norms, the focus is on the question of the extent to which a religion-specific bond actually influences moral thinking in questions of justice, or whether there are more ideas that transcend religion. A group of learners from vocational schools (N = 444) empirically examines the question.
