Teaching for justice - How political may/must religious education be?

Education reports regularly show the condition of educational justice in Germany. This article focuses on the question, how the religious education should deal with various aspects of educational (in)justice. It shows several issues for the requirement that religious education needs to position itself to topics of educational justice by implementing justice in the classrooms. This emphasizes the political dimension of religious education and shows that religious education cannot be considered without it.
